Maritime Products AS do also operate in other buisness areas than the helicopterdeck deliveries. However these are as well mostly linked to the maritim/marine sector. Catamaran part designing, Sub-sea design and deliveries, special marine equipment deliveries, consultanies.. etc has been areas we've been working in. Catamaran part designing. MARITIME PRODUCTS AS have done development and design work to the catamaran vessel HSS 900, owned by STENA LINE. ( huge Catamaran ferry ) We has also done some engineering and design work for a number of smaller catamaran passenger boats. Sub-sea deliveries. MP has been working with a sub-sea development project
together with Kværner Oilfield.( KOP ) This resulted for us later in a delivery of a subsea construction .
( a very complecated deep water sub sea pipe-connector ) Equipment deliveries. As a part of the helideck business we're doing we do also serve our customers with equipment deliveries, like various type of lightenig (perimeter and flood light etc), fire fighting equipment, smaller aluminium constructions etc.Engineering, design work, consultansis. MP has in several occations assisted other companies with engineering and design work. Such type of work has been from all over the rage from manufacturing, work-shop drawings and / or design drawings to more complecated work like calculation work and stressanalysis.
On-shore business. With background from the industrial mileu at Raufoss we do also perform from time some engineering work for these nextdoor companies. As an example can be mentioned 3D-construction work for the lokal defence industry. |
